Ok, I have a question on this older qing wen. They talk a lot at the beginning about how this structure:

subject 把 object verb 成 finish sentence

is used to portray mistaking something, or mistakenly doing something. For example:

69

Mistakenly writing 6 as 9. They even give an example about how to explicitly say it was done intentionally. But then this example is given:

巫婆王子青蛙

The witch turned the prince into a frog. Same structure, yet clearly intentional. Is the difference just from context?

As for your other suggestions, there's a lesson topic suggestion thread here:

I don't think there'd be much difference between what's displayed on the "dialogue" tab at the top and a vocab list, to be honest...

I was just about to suggest this lesson, then I searched, and realised that the lesson already existed! This would have been so useful in China! I'll listen to it tonight.

The phrase I heard most often was just 我来我来我来! (usually said by at least 2 people at the same time)...

I see from the similar newbie lesson that's short for 我来付 lai3fu4 - to pay

Expansion sentence:

刚刚路上碰到我的前女友男的在一起

The translation of the 2nd sentence has it as "she was with another man", and I notice that rather than 男人 it's 男的. Is this a normal pattern for "another", or is there another reason for having the 的 here?

I'm not tell you this, but my girlfriend sometimes uses glue when she goes out to fake it...

Hehe, I was thinking it was different. With the 你是中医吗 question, John would have definitely said, "you... are... chinese medicine??!"

Different styles is good!

Great first lesson Jason - were you nervous? You concealed it pretty well :)
