差一点 means 'nearly', 'almost', as in an action or event that was almost done.
差不多 also means 'nearly', 'almost', but its usage refers to quantity, not an action/event.

Example sentences:
我忙着差一点忘了吃饭。'I was so busy, I almost forgot to eat'. Here 差一点 refers to the action of eating.
饺子差不多都吃完了。'Almost all the dumplings have been eaten'. Here 差不多 refers to the quantity of the dumplings that have been eaten.

出租车 is Taxi

出租车站 is Taxi Stand/stop

站 (zhàn) refers to a stop or stand or station where some sort of public transport vehicle stops.

Another example is train station:

火车站 huǒ chē zhàn

hi davidhshanghai i think your question got lost in the sea ;p

"Can someone please help me to be able to read/write Chinese on a MacBook? I just got it and I want to start learning Chinese seriously. Thanks!!!"

Have a look at Yale's University's website on Chinese on a Mac - 很有用的吧
