August 11, 2009 at 12:21 AMI REALLY REALLY really like the voice on the expansion dialogs. It is "softer" than usual, and it seems to make it easier for me to retain the word relationships. I think that we need to have a selection of different sounds and vocies because of the nature of language, but I do want to underline the voice in this expansion lession set is somehow outstanding...

May 8, 2009 at 10:03 PMMy comment on the hotel prices..., You are way way way WAY WAY WAY! paying too much for a bed to sleep in Shanghai.
On the corner of JIANGXI Road and BEIJING Road in Shanghai is a so-called "youth" Hostel. Rooms are clean, no televison, you share a bathroom and shower. IT is in a great area of Shanghai. It is On block from the Bund. You can go via SICHUANG Road or NANJING Road to the bund.
It is called the MINGTOWN HIKER YOUTH Hostel. ANyone can use it. Age is not a requirement. IT's address is #450 Middle Jiangxi Road. 0086-21-6329-7889.
It has free wireless internet. Rooms are 43 RMB per night. The beds include sheets and pillows. IT is clean and has washer facilities.
I have spent a considerable amount of time at the fine hotels through China, but a youth hostel, especial in Shanghai, and for this price is really worth taking a look at. Check it out on the internet....

2,006.006 mm = 2.006E3 mm in English
2,006.006 mm = 0.2006E3 mm in Chinese??????

August 13, 2009 at 9:48 PMWhy won't this lesson come up on a lesson search? I typed in the words "are you busy" in the search box and the result was that there were no results.
