If you're still having that issue, you might just go with downloading it.
Got a handful of useful Mandarin out of this. Most of that was new to me, and the rest was reinforcing previously exposed things (that's just barely plural).
Great, interesting example Pete of L.B.J's quote!! One of CP's LOL moments right there.
Thanks for the translation Jenny!
About that sentence's 都, I have only a slight feel for it, but would like to see a few more examples of use. If anyone could field that, i'd certainly appreciate it.

May 5, 2008 at 3:01 AMlol, rjberki!!! I don't know what was funnier the comments or the audio. In response to Ken's advice against over-analyzing, I'd like to add that chinesepod.com's lessons make this easier to do because here we are likely to hear words and phrases many times across many lessons. If you're studying on your own without a regular Mandarin input source your analyses can get pretty dusty if you don't find a way to use them. But even if you watched TV you'll likely go much longer times between hearing phrases or patterns because the TV show isn't courteous to your level the way Chinesepod.com is. it's definitely a value i see.

Plus, that IS a great feeling to see your studies paying off. Fantastic for you! And you really must've been going at Chinese hard this Summer if you know what your friend was talking about.
