我想他们不要包括这种思想系统。他们没有神。基督教,伊斯兰教,佛教,等等都有神。

Well in my case, I took two courses from a private instructor before I found Chinesepod. His classes more or less followed a similar format, but we had some of the "formal" aspects of it.

I myself have been listening to Upper-Intermediate podcasts for the past few months to a year, and I recently have been trying to tackle on Advanced podcasts. My goal at the moment(and kind of always has been ) is to increase my comprehension of Mandarin by listening to people speak (basically you guys) and by learning new vocabulary words. The way that I got up to this level without much (hardly any really) real life speaking practicewas by,and still is, listening to these podcasts and stopping the podcasts everytime I hear one of the hosts saying a word which I do not know. I type the word in the nciku.com search engine and then I get the word's meaning. Now, this doesn't always work because I don't hear everything correctly, but it has got me rather far. I probably could immerse myself in a Chinese speaking environment more easily than others due to where I live (Chicago), but it seems rather cumbersome so I have refrained from doing so.

How would you say the following things in Chinese:

Chamber music(like string quartets,piano quintets)

Concertos

Funk

Sonata

Bows(like for violins)

Mallets

Symphonies

Rosin(used for the bow to grip the string)

Mutes

And that's about it. Thanks.
