June 17, 2008 at 1:15 AMI am ever impressed with how excited Ken and Jenny sound for repeating the same basic parts of speech for the 100th time. Keep up the good work guys. You really make studying chinese fun.
As for breakfast foods: I drink soymilk every morning with my cereal here in Baltimore since I'm intolerant of milk. And it tastes great. I've never tried 油条 though, sounds delicioius. I do often get congee though from my Chinese mother-in-law. We put pickled things, eggs, meat, etc in it to flavor it. Yummy!

June 13, 2008 at 4:59 PMOne of the expansion sentences needs a little help. 他不喜欢跳舞 is translated as "I don't like dancing". It should be "He doesn't like dancing".

June 6, 2008 at 3:27 PMI just want to add a visualization for 上 （shàng) and 下 （xià) when used for times and dates. Imagine your datebook or outlook calendar. Times and dates that are in the past are on top, or 上. Times and dates that are in the future are below, or 下. Hope this helps somebody.
