Hey, can anyone tell what they are talking about in the background?  I hear 石头剪刀布 there as well.

Also, I think the 3rd exercise would be much better if you had the option of entering characters or the pinyin. This would give us practice with the characters and eliminate the issue of figuring out where the spaces should be in the pinyin (I always have trouble with that).

When I first met my future in-laws, I had to learn 阿姨 and 叔叔 to address them.  Then, when I got married, they asked me to call them 妈妈 and 爸爸 (didn't stick though, felt a little weird).  But, then when my daughter was born, I then had to learn 姥姥 and 姥爷.  Pretty soon I'll have mastered them all!  Ok, perhaps I've got a long way to go, but it'll be a fun ride.

I loved the sound effects for this lesson.  Your sound team does a great job!

What an extremely useful (and funny) lesson! Now I can more easily do projects with my father in law.

After adding vocab from this lesson (simplified) some of the words showed up as their traditional versions in my vocab list. Aussie rules football shows up as follows: 澳式橄榄球.  Turns out the Microsoft IME has a bug! It looks like whoever is putting in the vocab at Cpod must be using the Microsoft IME as well.  What happens is that as you type the pinyin, ào and gǎn show up in Simplified as options, but once you accept they switch to traditional.  The differences are quite subtle so it would be easy to miss.

So what's the difference between 逛街 guàngjiē and 购物 gòuwù?Is the first a noun and the latter a verb?

I think you guys should produce a Connie-Amber duet of english songs translated to Chinese.  It would be great!
