dear xiaohu - there may be a reason why this lesson is about 'anger and annoyance' - chittywangwang has got a point - maybe you don't need to lobby the whole of chinesepod paid up members, just send a polite note to the techies (i'm assuming you and your ipod do come with a 'polite' mode huh?) - not all of us, paid or otherwise, use the same methods to listen and learn - for example, driving at 65 and playing around with mobile phones or other similarly distracting pieces of kit is illegal in europe (though i'm not saying nobody does it). personally, i don't drive, 'cos it's not worth it in london (who cares, i hear you all mutter) and i prefer to listen in a place where i can download the hanzi at the same time - so everybody's different - i'm sure if it's technically possible and feasible, the lovely techies could maybe put up two or three options, if we said PLEASE
