I don't see why comments about your translations on a particular lesson should be conducted on a different board. It is relevant and in context to conduct discussions on 'Dongbei' translations on the 'Dongbei' board. Saying that it is 'cluttering up the board' is a red herring excuse ( a commonly used distraction strategy ). There are many irrelevant and out of context comments on most boards.
I think Cpod should not allow you to erase a post simply because the post identifies an error in your translation. You've done this several times before including one of mine. What's happened to management's promise at the beginning of this year of being more transparent to poddies?
Finally, for the sake of maintaining Cpod's credibility, you should keep your word and follow through the details of your work responsibility. You told me you "have fixed" the Funny Business II pdf error translation of 有几个月了as "for a few weeks", and till today it has not been fixed.

When you order 大骨棒 dàgǔbàng in Dongbei, what do you get? Pork or lamb? Ken said several times it's pork, the translation says 'lamb'.
To me, the "wanna order some food, buddy" doesn't match the respectful tone of 大哥.

My understanding of 做 vs.作 is that 做 is an "activity verb", while 作 (also a verb) is used only in set expressions such as 作业 zuo4ye4 (homework) and 作家 zuo4jia1 (author).
An 'activity verb' as we know in English takes a direct object. So, if we want to say "to do/make something", always use 做 and not 作.
我爸爸做了这张桌子 wo3 ba4ba zuo4le zhe4 zhang1 zhuo1zi. My father made this table.

Aiyo Jenny, either you're short changing yourself, or you're saying the 哪里，哪里 Chinese modesty thing, because in reality the star appeal of the host is the make or break factor to any show. You can have the best script, the best sound and technical effects, the best costumes, but poorly cast actors and the movie will be a flop. You can have the most timely broadcasts and live videos to report breaking news, but have noodle limp reporters telling the stories, and all the great work behind the scenes will go to waste. You can have the best written text book for teaching any foreign language, however if the students don't like the presenter/teacher, they'll skip classes or leave. The host is the personality to the show which attracts or repels the audience. That's why new anchors, talk show hosts, and actors are paid a lot of money. What would Cpod be without Jenny?

I feel I must reply to your perception that I think you are not a professional or that you are incompetent. I don't know how you get such a perception when clearly I've posted in the past that you are an intelligent and gifted person.
For me, the issue is your insistence of using American slangs in what you deemed as 'cool words' such as 'cruising for chicks' in your translations. In Canada, the only place a waiter would say to me "Wanna order some food, buddy", is a strip joint or some truck stop. Is this how they speak in Dongbei?
Another issue for me is the quite frequent errors and ommissions nowadays in Cpod's work which is quite irritating when studying Chinese, such as in last "To Do" Qing Wen where a portion of the translations was left out. I'm not alone in expressing dismay on these two issues, as you've seen other comments as well.
As for fixing errors, I think it is a better and more transparent approach in customer service to simply post when an error has been fixed instead of erasing the original post. Look at the number of poddies commenting on the same issue in the 'missing section' of one of the recent Review Podcast. Wouldn't it be better customer service to post when the error has been fixed instead of fixing it silently? We will then know when to download the corrected file.
