Wouldn't 有人 mean one person and 有人们 mean a group? Or does 有人 mean both?

谢谢

I would like to see conversation videos with the hanzi and a hidden english translation (which changes with video - somehow) so I could test whether I translated correctly.

You can practice with hearing new chinese sentences easily with listening to new lessons (before translation), but there isn't much regarding translating new hanzi sentences.

I do try with the expansion. Only trying to see the characters, but a video would definetly be easier.

A Saloon is also a car, although that may just be a british word.

That would definetly help me. I wouldn't have to make a list of all my mistakes.

Also I would like to see a type-in format for the cards. So you see the English/Hanzi and type the Pinyin in with the tones (like on the exercises).

Other additions which I think would be good are:

  1. example sentences
  2. no small font characters
  3. audio which works
  4. character cards - Hanzi-Pinyin, Pinyin-Hanzi on individual characters

and finally, similar to chris's idea. The success rate of each card could be stored, with a seperate group including your worst cards (with a limit on the history of about 20 ticks or crosses, to enable it to be removed from the group with several correct attempts). A worst 20 card group, worst 100 card group, or whatever.

Any improvement in the Flashcard area would be greatly appreciated.

Typo in the Expansion:

我不要吃咕咾肉。

(I don't wan to eat sweet and sour pork.)

Also,

你想去北京?

(Do you want to go to Beijing?)

Shouldn't that have a "吗" or "想不想" to make it a question?

Regarding:

where: 哪里 and 哪儿

there: 那里 and 那儿

here: 这里 and  这儿

Are they totally interchangable?

Also, while I'm here: Is there any easy way to remember when to use 这 and 这个, the right way round?

谢谢

Can someone please explain the following from the Expansion:

你们公司多少
(How many people are there in your company?)

Why is it "你们" and not "你的"?
