June 5, 2008 at 11:46 AMThanks for that, I'll leave it at that for now since we're now getting off-topic here but I am still curious about a couple of things. May be it will come up in my lessons for this month with my cPOD teacher. :)

June 5, 2008 at 11:19 AM每一个人除去我会讲普通话很好!
měiyīgerén chúqù wǒ huìjiǎng pǔtōnghuà hěn hǎo!
Everyone except for me can speak Mandarin very well!
Would this be the correct way to say it? I would probably just say the following but I am curious about the sentence construction above only.
我会讲普通话不好。
wǒ huìjiǎng pǔtōnghuà bùhǎo

June 5, 2008 at 8:51 AM每个人 - měi ge rěn (everybody/everyone). Not to be confused with 美国人 měi guó rěn (American Person/People), which it sounds very much like during the dialogue in this sentence. And since this example is not in the expansion or PDF, it took me a little while to figure out what was actually being said.

June 7, 2008 at 4:52 AMCoffee-guy.. love it! :) How would we say this in mandarin? 咖啡男人? Or is there something more appropriate to this context.. like the "tea lady" term used in English speaking countries?
