I think you should add "emphasis" to the functions.. because this lesson has a lot of that. :)

March 7, 2012 at 10:06 AMYes because of the numbers.. I chose the date actually.. haha.. I did all the research and selected the date and backed it up with all the numerology. :) Jiangyue is more of a big-picture person and doesn't like to get bogged down in the details.. so I did a lot of the wedding planning myself. That day is actually a very auspicious date.. but not many people would use that day because it was the eve of the Chinese new year and it would be very difficult to do it in China.. nearly impossible without a lot of money, I'd guess. :)

March 14, 2012 at 6:04 AMI know all the numbers and units, have done for years, however the really big numbers such as above 10 million still catch me out and give me pause while I work it out in my head. it's just one of those things that is different in a different way than just purely language.. it's the concept of counting itself that needs to be relearned
