The chinese agricultural almanac is mostly based on the moon. That's the same in many other cultures.
In France, we still have the lunar phases on most modern calendars (new moon, first quarter, full moon, last quarter).

November 15, 2008 at 9:25 PM... and about the chinese red wine with residual sugar (sweetness), it's not that tragic. We had some red wines of this kind in west Europe during the 18th-19th century (and Romania still produces some today).

What you call sugar at the bottom of the cork may be in fact Potassium bitartrate (cream of tartar) which is the potassium acid salt of tartaric acid that makes a deposit in the bottle during the ageing. The more acidity you get from early picking of the grappes the more deposit you will get later in the bottle. There's an easy process to avoid this kind of deposit (which is only a visual defect btw) but it's not the famous Malolactic fermentation which soften the acidity only by transformation of malic acid in lactic acid.
You also find the deposit on the surface of the cork as bottles with low quality corks are put upside down the first few hours after the bottling to keep dampness on the cork.

but I just checked on google and 天花板下 also exists.
In chinese, what would be the subtle difference between 天花板上 and 天花板下 ? Is it only for something hanging ?
If the drop of ink is hanging from the celling, would it be :
悬挂在天花板下 or 悬挂在天花板上 ?
