What was the look on Connie's face when Clay said "poop it out?"

每天 Connie 都骂我。 我对她害怕。 每次他要打破我的头!

Every Little Step is Bobby Brown 1989.

Every Time You Go Away is Hall & Oats 1980, Paul Young 1985.

Now we're starting to see the real Connie, the one that always threatens to punch my teeth in every morning when I get to the office...

quasifrog--let me assure you that Amber has never been anything more than a day-tourist in Seattle.  As for Louisiana food, the other day I ordered a po' boy, and she was amazed at the majesty and diversity of American cuisine.

I don't have a 那有什么。。。呢 sentence to contribute to the conversation, but I would like to say that my zi of the day is 哼!

Here's a picture of me and my graduation-gift man fan at CET Hangzhou Summer 2007.

bennyboyk,

The man fan was a gift, i'm tellin' ya... a gift!

And no, I don't have a matching bag with a traditional mask theme, geez.  After I bought the matching set of traditional mask theme sun hat, silky scarf, and pumps, I drew the line at the matching bag.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to go... my custom parasol is ready to pick up.  You're going to love it, I had them use a traditional mask motif...

billm,

the Amber/JP live call in show puzzler?  Hmm,  I think the prize will have to be determined by our department of shameless commerce.  Let me ask my Russian driver, Pickov Andropov...

Hey folks, here's a picture of the boba fett welding visor.  The picture is of a Cantonese lady at a Las Vegas outlet mall, where first saw this type of helmet.  I was spooked, but my mama was enthralled, and asked the lady where she could get one.  Answer:  China.  She gave me permission to take the picture.

I never saw that kind of visor again in the USA, but believe me, they're all over Shanghai....

Hambuerguesa,

Brian Adams 唱什么歌, Amber 就喜欢听什么。 谁都知道了! 因为他们两个都是温哥华人!  Represent!

marcodevincentis,  if you're in South Seattle, you won't have any problem finding those ice cream flavors.

ewong, it's true what you say about the cold water after oily food.  My white friends from college used to wonder why my stomach didn't hurt like theirs did after eating at a Chinese restaurant, and I always said, "it's cause I drink the tea they give me to drink, foolz!"

You know, you can always just eat food that's not greasy... of course, that's a tall order here in Shanghai...
