I'm glad you like it. We have a same saying in Chinese too! “赌场得意,情场失意”/du3 chang3 de2 yi4, qing2 chang3 shi1 yi4. 赌场 means 'the gambling world', 情场 means 'the departemnt of love'. 得意 means to feel good about something, 失意 means disappointment. You can also flip the order. 赌场失意,情场得意。Either way, you just can't have it all.

There's a popular brand of cigarettes called 红双喜/hong2 shuang1 xi3. No surprise that it's the choice of cigarettes given out at Chinese weddings. Oh, yes, besides candies, we also offer ciggies at weddings. Unhealthy but practical. However, many young people have stopped doing it.

说法 is quite colloquial. It often implies an explanation regarding some injustice. It's sometimes interchangeable with 解释, which is the most general and safest word to use if you want to mean 'explanation'. 说明 is instruction or even a munual.
infusiastic,
Thanks a lot for your support! 我们想办法不断进步/we think about ways to improve all the time.

It's called 招财猫/zhao1 cai2 mao1. 招means to call for something, 财 means money, wealth. Yes, it's Japanese. It was only imported to China in the past 10 years or so.
