Many thanks for the lesson numbers above the flash cards.

There is no sound on this lesson's flash cards and also Pop Music and Pop Culture.  I am due to study these lessons at end of this week. Please rectify this as soon as possible as I want to do some work in advance.

I cannot save the vocabulary in this lesson to the manager so I won't have the use of flash cards.

please could something be done about this urgently?

Since the update some time ago many improvements have been made that I really appreciate. One problem has not yet been sorted i.e.the third exercise in most of the lessons I have tried. I usually get 0 for my efforts. While my Chinese is not great I don't think it is that bad! In this lesson the exercise is numbered 1 3 4 6 7 8 9. This would not worry me if I could get a realistic result. Many thanks again for all your work.

I totally agree with Ron's, (Colorado USA ) point. In the Expansions I always "translate" the English into Chinese word order. I find this helps me to recall the Chinese sentence accurately

Has anyone else had a problem with the size of the exercises in this lesson?

大家你好! I feel great improvements have been made to the site. I like the numbered tones and the addition of Traditional Characters. I am not sure about the ommision of the translation in the Expansions .The exercises have also improved especially the Vocab.test. I like the immediate result that shows you where you have made a mistake and so save time trying to find out. Could this facility be added to the other tests.

There have been several attempts to represent the pronuciation of chinese characters in roman letters. Given the wide variety of English speakers, not to mention the numbers of languages using the roman letters with variations, I cannot see that pinyin or other versions are easy. I believe the Chinese Phonetic system is much easier to cope with. True, at first it has to be learned but it does not take long. Once known and practised a little you can look up any word in a Chinese phonetic dictionary and pronounce it, without interference from your native language.
