September 1, 2008 at 11:39 AMI have just regained the feeling that ChinesePod is on my terms again since the restoration of the editing facility in the vocabulary manager. Perfection would be achieved if the facility of a choice of of Pinyin/bo po mo fo could be given in the third exercise or a choice of simplified/traditional characters.
I don't know what I feel about video but I'll give it a try. I wonder if the eye will take away from the focus on the ear.

1) Am I correct in thinking that lessons without the lesson picture have no sound anywhere?
2) Lessons with the lesson picture may or may not have sound?
Can someone give me a clue of the timescale required to fix these bugs, that effectively almost renders the site useless?
We are now forty days coping with this mess.

Perhaps it has something to do with the time you checked them. I use Windows 86, Firefox 3.
I usually start early morning Taiwan time. I never had a problem with the downloads. I had no sound in flash card section and the dreadful square icons that predated the upgrade of site. This morning the exercises were back and worked well and I tried the audio in the expansion, not only did it work but the response seems much faster. Many thanks to whoever is responsible for that.

December 3, 2008 at 2:45 AMToday I tried to use the flash cards of this lesson. The audio for every card regardless of the characters produced '你 好'. Has anyone else had this experience?
