The Customer Feedback is a really important feature.

I just somehow cannot login. It accepts my username, but I stay "anonymous"...

This was the first CPod show in the new year for me. Bang!

Amber, it will be impossible to replace you. And having met you, I fully agree with Ken that you are just as nice in real life as you are in the podcasts (Jenny's champagne analogy pretty much captures it).

All the best!
Henning

I failed.

Three Chinese students in my Office-class actually had the faith to address me in Chinese.

And I did not get the question. Not even the gist of it. Now they only talk German to me.

The question was this one: "How did you place the odd and even page numbers in the header on different sides of the page?".

Please, let 老王 learn some Word!

I wonder if linguistic terms are so Newbie-suited if not even Cassie knows them...

In my opinion, video is just the wrong way to approach the subject. Video is not interactive. If you want to teach characters, produce applications which let you explore the concepts - from the basics to the deep background. And include exercises for character recognition and writing. Buy scritter.

Better flush the complete video section as a whole. Give us testing tools instead - costs you less ressources and helps us learning more effectively (because you can actively use them). More valuable for your (paying) non-newbie-learners also.

Maybe I just didn't get it because I am not a native English speaker. Too bad, the actual topic (lasting 30 seconds of the 5-minutes video?) could indeed be really interesting.

Last year I visited Beijing in winter and it was unbearable hot inside - way above 30 degrees. The air is gruesomely dry due to that unhealthy heater warmth. And there just was no way to turn down the heat - except opening a window (which was no option either with my kids around - don't want them to jump out of the 7th floor).

I learned that this was necessary because the method of heating was geothermal: closer to the source everybody needs to sweat so that the more distant zones can get at least some remaining traces of warmth. And regarding the environment: "It doesn't make a difference because it comes out of the ground whether you heat or not".

So take your beach gear before you come to the north in winter. But change clothes when leaving home...

Just looked at the SPod site and got my answer (which is a clear "yes"). Sorry for being annoying! :)

Is the promotion constrained to CPod or does it work for the other xPods as well?

E.g.: Can I give a SpanishPod gift to [person x] and get 6 month ItalianPod for [person y] on top?
