I got a list of translations with probably all German, Switzerland, and Austrian towns. But it is paper based.

Where did this come from? Two lessons today? Cool ...but at a time when I still have a backlog with an UI, an Adv. and a Media lesson on my list and my very first Practice session coming up tomorrow... :)

"Vocabulary from the lessons are not (yet) being put into the dictionary automatically: John and I will be sitting down to nail that out later today." Does this mean that the vocab from the complete collection of Advanced and Media lessons will be fed in there too? Than I stop manually entering that...

Oh, yes it is. It channels common dictionary-uncompleteness-induced anger into productive work. Only thing I miss for entering is a pre-defined list of categories e.g. "colloquial", "chengyu", "obsolete", "location", "full name", "fictional", "brand name", "vulgar", "technical", "abbreviation", "organization" etc. This would be really helpful when looking up words later (you could e.g. filter out all proper nouns).

Indeed, the toy is online again. Actually I have no time for that... But what can I do if there is no "jigsaw puzzle" in there, no "gummi bear" and no "open new tab". And the vocab from today's Media lessons cried for entering, also.

Since this morning I can't access dict.chinesepod.com anymore. Sometimes I get one request in, but usually my Chinese Firefox tells me: "连接被重置" (connection reset). Anyone else got that problem?

A -question on one of the example sentences: "孩子生病后，她四处求神拜佛，..." Translated with: "After her child fell ill, she went everywhere". Expressing tense is still confusing for me. At first I thought that this 后 meant "after the kid was ill". But I figured that 生病 must be the *event* of becoming ill, not the *state* of illness. But I would like to turn this into a 了-question. Could I alternatively say: "孩子生病了，她四处求神拜佛，..." without altering the meaning?

To be fair: Besides SciFi stuff I also added useful vocab - e.g. Chengyues, some Business Intelligence terminology, and, yes, "Chinesepod".
