June 23, 2010 at 10:54 PMLove it! Can we expect more football lingo in an upper intermediate lesson? Red card, yellow card, offside, free kick, cleats, faking it..? That would be useful given current events!

November 16, 2009 at 3:29 AMHi Chinesepod!
I don't know where this fits but I was wondering where the Jenny Zhu show went? Is it over?
Maybe I missed something. Was it just a test to see if it would be successful?
Thanks!

November 3, 2009 at 6:37 PMThought it was great too. I also love how seemlessly John/Jenny interact and provoke one another. You guys are really pros!
About the lesson, I remember in a Chinese class wanting to talk about a loan situation and the teacher had to prompt all the words (they are not necessarily used daily). They're all here for review in a really captivating story. Thanks guys!

October 28, 2009 at 11:54 PMI get a kick out of Scarlett / Ou Si Jia forced to say words like "busy as heck" and "bucks". So sorry about that!

Seems the product is getting better and better as time goes on! 加油Cpod!

October 1, 2009 at 9:42 PMThough I only saw it now, I LOVED this lesson and smiled throughout! Contemporary thought/issues and the way China views it's own countrymen seems so much more compelling to me and my daily life than some of the other more advanced lessons focused on ancient China. I tend to more readily skip over those ones eventhough the acting is super funny. Anyway, thanks so much for this one! Can I put in a vote for more of these media ones? :)
