July 13, 2010 at 7:28 AMwell in New Zealand we sometimes use that phrase anyway. I asked someone else and they said 就 just adds emphasis in the 喝茶 situation. But when you use it in the “不过是点小伤，过几天就好了” then it functions differently as a result as you already explained. Thanks for you input.
