April 7, 2008 at 1:00 AMI had commited myself to doing the homestay programme in Shanghai this summer - where I teach English for 5 hours per week to a memebr of the host family - I'm not so sure now. Think I'm a sore deal!

Besides learning Mandarin at Uni, this is certainly the best pool of learning material I've come across so far. Keep up the good work!

I take it you are not from the UK? Day time terestrial television here is rife with male (and female) interior designers. The population who stays at home in the day time seems to be crazy about it! I don't think your being ethnocentric, maybe there are many more guys who like it, but as a profession. I think generally although, it does'nt seem a Lad's interest.
