Reviewing the older lessons...

I'm wondering how you would say "walk towards some landmark"?  For instance, assuming the hospital is plainly visible.  可以说: 医院向走?(yi1yuan4 xiang4 zou3)

Thanks!

Just curious, would 我们公司三楼 (wo men gong si you san lou) imply that my company has (occupy's) three floors?

Hi, I just stumbled upon this old lesson...

If it wasn't for the explaination by Jenny & John , I'd have no clue what "xı(3) jian(3) chui(1)" meant.  How would I ask for explaination?  洗剪吹的有什么意思 (xi jian chui de you shenme yi si"??

BTW "Dreaming in Mandarin" is only $2.99 for the Kindle on Amazon (US store.) Note: I saw some comments about the Chinese and pinyin (with the tones) being hard to read on the Kindle so I was a bit worried, but I thought for that price it was worth the risk... Glad to say it all looks good!

thanks! To be honest, I was thinking about my time in Taipei, where the subway lines are not numbered, but color coded. However, I do remember that they also seem to refer to the terminal station as well when discussing which line to take.

I've noticed many of the subway lines are color coded.  How would you say take the blue line? 坐蓝色线?  Thanks~

It has nothing to do with how you say '250'

I shouted 'fuwuyuan' in a restaurant in Taiwan recently and was told to that 'xiaojie' is better...
