OK so I think Ikea stuff is the bomb! I use the modern pieces in my house. If you need help to put together call me -- even better yet I have some vacation left send me to China I will help you. I will buy the food!

When I go out i hear the phrase 有意思 to me it almost seems over used. But that is no problem. I understand them.

shenyajin, How about just going to Quickly They are the bomb. My wife and I go there at least once a week and then have to work out really hard or go surfing! Dam things are full of sugar.

One other thing most of the time you do not need a power converter for laptops just a plug adjustment to make the plug at the hotel  fit the plug you have…….most good hotels will provide one but if it is a budget hotel bring your own.

 

Also read you power converter on your laptop chances it will work in China no problem.

OK so I admit it. One time I had a power converter melt in a hotel in Hongzhou. All I had after the mess was a flat pile of plastic and a really bad smelling hotel room (the smell was so bad I thought they where going to kick me of my 5 star hotel). Well that is enough from me.

How about 3 weeks a year? Well am a married man now to my ABC wife. We laugh alot she speeks no chinese and I do all the talking in Manderin when we are in China or China Town. You should see the look on some of the faces. Also the blank look on her face when she says she speaks no Mandarin.

 

She speaks toisan only.
