July 26, 2009 at 7:15 AMBeside my fav. chinese dish :-) Yangzhou also has some nice ceramics. I visited this place on Tomb Sweeping day when I just moved to Nanjing. I will go back when I'm back from Europe although they might NOT like it.

The local zoo has a Panda but would not recommend visiting it. It is more like grey and grey in stead of b&w and it is not a pleasant eperience seeing the animal in a tiny barred cage. In retrospect maybe I also should have skipped the horse.
Btw, the toy market is a surreal experience.
The parks were nice to visit and had more tulips than Holland when I visited :-).
Yangzhou is about an hour+ drive from Nanjing, so easy to combine in a trip.

July 13, 2009 at 4:39 PMExercise number 2 "multiple choice" is not working in FF and in IE. All I see is an empty screen and "view score" and "restart" and previous and next. Excersise 1+3 are working fine. Maybe this has somethng to do with the implementation of the new system?

July 29, 2009 at 3:32 PMExercise number two is not working (I know you guys are working hard on AMS2). So, just to let you, maybe it is of any help ;-)!
For the transcripts (I have been awfully quiet :-P), I am having a holiday break and my sister's wedding kept me quite busy, but I promiss to finish my Dog Meat lesson and will continue with helping transcribing intermediates in a week or 2 to 3. UI is quite challenging and I am only half way :-).
