“少小” and “老大” in line one reminds me another classical poem.
“少壮（小）不努力，老大徒伤悲。”shao4zhuang4（xiao3）bu4nu3li4,lao3da4tu2shang1bei1
It translate as if one does not exert oneself in youth, one will regret it in old age.
"少壮" and"少小"here are the same, both mean youth.
My dad was very strict to my education. In order to encourage me and inspirite me, he always use some classical poems to make good examples for me. I still remember this is one of the poems that my dad had used before.^_^

February 3, 2009 at 5:47 AM物是人非啊！伤感这“物是人非”的又岂止诗人贺知章呢？就连我们普通人也能够深刻的感受到人生中这样的变化太多太多！让人不禁想起“物是人非事事休，欲语泪先流”这句诗啊！

这节课中jiaojie老师和jenny老师还提到的“赤手空拳打拼”这个说法，也可以用另一个俗语哦，那就是“白手起家”bai2shou3qi3jia1=starting from scratch.

虽然我们现在是咸鱼翻身了，但是还是不能骄傲自满，必须要居安思危。
