And as for the lessons..
One of the reasons I liked chinesepod so far was that most of the voices in the dialogues and in the explanation lessons had their own character and didnt sound like the boring textbook-recording-voices I know from the CDs in Chinese textbooks.
I am disappointed. ALL the new lessons that come from TW are approaching boring textbook level. I really hope that you find some people with a lively voice that bring some fresh wind into your recordings.
And for the lesson-recordings: They speak too fast and not clearly!

Try to put 警局 in baidu or any other chinese search engine and nothing similar to police station shows up.
I just want high standard lessons and wordlists here on chinesepod. I think that isnt asked too much.

January 27, 2015 at 6:19 PMI live in Beijing and here nobody would understand what is meant by expressions like: 足科，打直，长短脚。 I think it is very irresponsible to teach us these words which nobody would understand in mainland China. Sorry for my harsh words but I am really concerned!
