If the dishes don't have English names, this would have been a great chance to be pioneers and coin English names for the various Chinese dishes.

January 3, 2013 at 11:40 AMOkay, so you mean if we read 吧唧吧唧 out loud from off a piece of paper, then we should read it with ba1, but if we say this without reading anything , then it should be read bia1 ? Really doesn't seem logical

If the sound should be with a biā sound, then why is Connie reading it as bā in the vocab section and in the line-by-line dialogue? The male voice actor is also seems to be reading it as bā in the dialogue.
