In the phrase ，"通货膨胀"is right, but 通货膨化is not existing. 膨胀 to some extent means "expand" or "inflate",of course ,膨胀 can be a none as well as a verb. but“ 膨化”is usually used to describe a kind of food just like "puffed food" ，膨化 is close to the meaning of "puffing" or "swelling". June 6, 2007 at 4:02 AMHi,danjo, IN the sentence"爸爸妈妈骗你的", in my opinion,the verb "是"was omitted. so,in fact,the sentence should be "爸爸妈妈是骗你的"。 omitting is a ususlly usage to make one`s words shorter in spoken Chinese. just like that in English, you ususlly use "coming" instead of "I`m coming".
