February 20, 2009 at 6:15 AMzao gao.The editor didn't accept my editing to my above post earler.I was going to add that I first recall these pseudo Confucius quotes as a young kid watching Get Smart in the episodes that Harry Hoo appeared.He was such a classic.Here's an example:
HARRY HOO: As Confucius say, “Stick and stone may break my bone, but name will never hurt me.”
MAX: Confucius said that?
HARRY HOO: As a child.

hehe.Thanks for that mate.I love these pseudo Confuscious quotes.They always make me chuckle and this one was particularly apt after my baobao comment,and also my poem probably sounds crazy in Chinese like it's been written by someone high.

Just in case you hadn't realised to expound on Pete's Confuscious joke,the pun was on both high and on pot.High referring not only to high in the air,but also stoned on a drug.As Pete said the pot [or potty for babies] refers to a toilet,but pot is also another name for MaryJane.

I initially took this sentence from the expansion:
我不会坐车，一坐车就想吐
to be referring to car sickness.I have seen bus 公共汽车 shortened to 车,but am wondering how one was meant to tell if it was a bus or car that was being referred to.Is it a matter of relying on context or does 坐 [to take a seat] tend to be more suggetive of a bus than a car?
