haha, when I first saw the lesson title I was thinking what a great adjective rambunctious is ...nothing quite so descriptive and apt as that word, so worth knowing Jenny :)

hey mate, I just didn't get what you were trying to say with shibushi. What I understood by your post was:

hey, I remember going through this over 4 years ago, but now I'm happily married [wife, if you're currently reading this, shibushi]

shibushi....are you or aren't you reading this?...or is this or isn't this the case....as in, you know Im happily married, right

Soz mate, I must say I was hesitant to comment at all, being that it was addressed to laopo, but you posted on public forum and language curiosity got the better of me. Feel free to ignore....don't want to go into the whole thing...just the shibushi if it's not too personal.

The sentence re-ordering exercise wouldn't let me re-order them. Lot's of blank boxes popped up like crazy, hehe.

Also the lines between selections didn't show up in the first matching exercise, but at least it remembered what I'd chosen when it came to correction.

nothing more than to sell you one.

Nothing better than to have one before writing the intro, hehe [j/k]

hexu, I have another bit of good news for you on the horizon. I just came across a new word "大鱼大肉" from the expansion of the popup ads lesson. Each character was easy and obvious to me and though I didn't know that expression the meaning was easy enough to deduce from context and it was said at a comfortable speed. However, if I hadn't struck it before now and first struck it at speed, it may have slowed me down slightly and I may have missed something following. Or I might not have caught every one of the four characters, So, my point is, the good news is that as your vocabulary builds, I think you hear a lot of stuff in lexical chunks, so you almost get ahead of the game then. For example, in this instance if I hear 大鱼大肉 again in context, by the time I'm hearing the d sound of the second da, I know that it's likely to finish off with darou to complete the expression and I'm fully primed for whatever is coming after that. [But I'm not sitting around playing guessing games...this process just happens naturally I think] Make sense?

Jeepers, I hope this expansion sentence isn't a hint, hehe:
