Seems like I read that ChinesePod was going to support Anki, the flash card application.  If so, what is the first steps for learning to use Anki.

Now that debt is reaching trillions we are using Chinese style methodologies to indicate just how much that is.

Then consider other bases throw that into the mix and yet another math confusion.

Base two clock is an interesting example.

Try hexideimal where you have letters and numbers in base twelve.

Not sure if these constructions are right.

Ru2guo3 wo3men xiang3 kan4 dian4 ying3 wo3men2 jiu4 qu1. If we want to see a movie then we will go. Ru2guo3 wo3men2 chi1 tai4 dou1 wo3men2 jiu4 hui4 pang4. If we eat too much, then we will get fat. Ru2guo3 wo3men2 he1 tai4 duo1 ka1fei1, wo3men2 jiu4 shui4 bu4 hao3. If we drink a lot of coffee we will not sleep. Ru2gou3 ni3 bu4 gong1zou4, ni3 jiu4 mei2you3 qian3. If you don’t work you will not earn money.

Here are a few attempts at using a pattern to expand vocabulary and understanding Chinese language structure from a novice.  Any instructional comments are welcome.

What’s your new bicycle like?

nǐ de ji3 xīn che zěnmeyàng?

What’s your new car like?

nǐ de xīn chi che zěnmeyàng?

What’s your new wife like?

nǐ de xīn tai4 tai4 zěnmeyàng?

What is your new computer like?

nǐ de xīn dian4 nao3 zěnmeyàng?

What is your new home like?

nǐ de xīn jia1 zěnmeyàng?

Recently applied for a teaching position in Shenzhen.  I have a type L, multiple entry visa.  I was told by the manager of the concern that I did not need a work visa that the one I had was sufficient.

Hard to believe you are a teacher of some kind.  You are arrogant without warrant.

"It is a fact that I have noticed..." is a poor English construction on a number of levels.  It is apparent that English is not your native language.
