Hi guys just a bit confused with the use of 给 as “introduces an indirect object”. Especially when trying to match it to the translation. Does it have an actual impact on the sentence or “its there because it needs to be”. Not my best way of asking the question I know, but just confused over how to use it other than for its normal use of “give”.

Anyone got an update on the meaning of the last grammar point? 过了这个村就没这个店了, the translation doesn’t seem to fit unless it is some kind of idiom.

agh another issue with 交 - seriously do in needs to have sex as a deposit for booking a hotel room - the joy of IT picking the character meaning - totally out of context

Seriously the 7th Expansion, 交， when you hover over the character to get the meaning you get “to have sex with” - what the I have to have sex with he landlord????????? It may fall under one of the meanings but maybe a bit of a check to what meaning the character is linked to - context context context 😝😝😝

Hi guys, in the sentence, 现在秋天了，要多穿衣服，how come we dont put a 着 after the 穿 to indicate a change of state, ie already wearing clothes but put more on.

Think I have answered my own question re 忙， here 帮忙 means help and in the sentence you split the two characters and put the description in between ie 帮。。。。。忙。
