The Yellowbridge dictionary actually has 找了 as a vocabulary item meaning "to have found".

The sample sentences they give are:

好工作似乎愈来愈难找了。

It seems to be becoming hard to get a good job.

他为迟到找了很多的借口。

He made many excuses for being late.

她本人在职时帮他找了分工作

In office herself, she helped him get a job.

小女孩找了个空子挤了进去。

The girl found a gap and squeezed in.

这是五镑的钞票--零钱不用找了。

Here's a five-pound note -- you can keep the change.

别忘了这年头好工作已经很难找了。

Don't forget that good jobs are very hard to come by these days.

Perhaps you are right. Is it possible that it carries a bit of both meanings?

Yep, same here. This issue regularly affects some people and not others. But unlike previous times when only I have been affected, the play button bounces back immediately which suggests that there is no sound associated with the button.

In John's Grammar Wiki, he gives the following advanced use of 都:

"都 can also mean 甚至, meaning "even to the point that", and in this form it expresses emphasis."

I think that is how it is being used here.

And I just thought I'd make it clear who this last comment was directed at.

Thank you for that. So if you don't mind, I will infer that you believe that anyone who preaches to me about the 99c issue and yet is willing to rip off Microsoft is indeed a hypocrite.
