April 1, 2013 at 3:46 AMWell, it is a cloudy and cool Easter Monday, so I have the time. But my work will start building up from now over the next 6 months. So except for a two-week break this month, and another two-week break in July, my output will probably begin to drop off, starting tomorrow. I will aim to keep up with the new lessons, but I probably won't have the time to work back through the older lessons as I have been. But in the last three months of the year I should have even more free time than I have had in the first three months!
Regarding the grammar tips, at some point I plan on making my own list of Intermediate grammar and vocabulary based on all the transcripts. This might happen during my coming two week break but, more likely, it won't happen until the end of the year.

They started doing Qingwen PDFs in August '09 with lesson 112.
They said at the time that they would be working backwards through the older PDFs, but they have never done even one.
Nowadays they just ignore questions like yours.

March 30, 2013 at 12:38 PMEvery time someone asks this question we are told that gēn has more of a meaning of 'with'. But I have seen plenty of examples where hé can also be interpreted as 'with'. Perhaps there should be a Qingwen highlighting all the 'and' words and all the 'with' words, and giving examples where hé and gēn can and cannot be used.
Other examples of words meaning 'and': bìng; ér; yǔ
