Don't be so thin skinned. :-) Jenny gets to take a shot now and then too. After all, John was giving it out in regards to how he thought the weekend swap idea was pretty foolish. It was self- defense, more or less. I was not offended.

ok bodawei then why dont they call them hutongs in other cities? I believe his question is, what is the distinction? All distinctive but different? So what is the difference? I think it is because those in BJ are formed by the borders of siheyuan, but do they have another distinction? Look different?

actually concrete and cement are different. Concrete         混凝土 is a mixture of cement, crushed rock and sand. Cement is 水泥。 A cement mixer is a stationary device for mixing cement with water or to make concrete. Sometimes we refer to concrete trucks as cement trucks or cement mixers. In the lesson is the term 搅拌机 referring to a machine or a truck? How would you say concrete truck or cement truck? 水泥车？ 混凝土车？
