bodawei,

you said:

I stay in a little place that is almost off the map. Some people may think I am tight (!?)

yea, maybe. hehe. just a little tight. What was the name of the place again? :-) Its now a tourist attraction for me hehe.

I would love to stay near the Bund but it is a little pricey. I usually stay out near or in Hong Qiao district. There is a hotel there called the sun shine inn. Im guessing its in your price range. My buddy read it as soonsheen hotel. He was thinking the name was pinyin, but its just english hehe.

ah the "knowledge" - but isnt this kind of obsolete in the age of GPS? I guess you are going to tell me that the London cabbies still know the shortest way there. I have pretty good luck with taxi drivers in SH. I keep a hotel card in my pocket but I havent had to use it in a long time.

on the manage lessons page you can select the lessons from your "My archive". Click the box and select "remove". Once it is removed you can to the actual lesson in the lessons section of cpod and bookmark again.

Or you can just go to the acutal lesson in the lesson section. Under the picture there is a dropdown arrow that will display remove. Remove the lesson and then you can re-bookmark.

I have to agree Bill. They have come a long way from Ken and Jenny reading the scripts themselves.

I was in China for the earthquake in 2008. I have to agree with your statement

we all are in fact one large family and our differences are small when compared to the humanness that unites us.

Interesting how allergic is used as a verb. Its almost as if he's saying - if I eat that I will be allergized, or it will allergize me.

btw- what would he call her parents after they are married? No "mom" and "dad" like in the US?

John,

Did you write your thesis in Chinese or English? Would you share the title?
