November 13, 2012 at 3:22 PMWell by that logic Mitt Romney wonders why you are not a millionaire. You are as able bodied as he. You must be lazy. And 47% of the American people think they are victims, and just want hand outs. Unemployment is all a scam perpetrated by the unscrupulous and the lazy. Look at em, they are healthy. Every beggar is a professional. They have chosen this path because their options are limited, and its not easy or high paying work. This kind of over-generalization is more about easing the conscious of those that don't want to be bothered to give. It reminds me of the old urban legend that everyone on welfare drove a Cadillac. Follow your heart. Give if you want to, dont give if you dont, but dont look for an excuse. We are all only so many pay checks from a tin cup.

There is also the History channel, Discovery, The Science channel, and Nat Geo. Its as much fun as getting locked in the library at closing time, only better.

The inner workings are not visible at times but the 18th National congress of the Communist party began Nov 8th (中国共产党第十八次全国代表大会) and they will likely replace 7 of 9 politburo members due to retire and reduce the 9 back to the original size of 7. Hu Jintao is expected to be replaced by Xi Jinping. The international press is there and Hu's speech has been widely covered by the press inside and outside of China. Louisa Lim of NPR is even tweeting from the event. A cursory search of BBC news and wikipedia re the 18th Congress will yield much that is quite interesting. Its worth reading if you are interested in that kind of thing.

November 1, 2012 at 2:13 PMIt is interesting that lap dance is 膝上舞 and lap top computer is 膝上型电脑 but to sit on an adults lap is 坐 在大人腿上. Any reason for the difference? Thigh vs knee? Are they interchangeable in all cases or are these the versions that just sound right?

October 25, 2012 at 10:36 AMI have tried it btw and I expected to like it. After all it comes from beer right? Well, it wasnt to be and I was told later I had put it on too thick. I may still have it around here somewhere. Its been a couple if years but I doubt if that stuff has an expiration date. I mean how could it go bad? Its already bad. I do like the song though. Makes me nostalgic for some of the brainwashing TV ploys of me youth.

Unfortunately this backfired on her as public opinion turned against her. She has recently made a porno movie to help support her total of 14 children. She is currently taking some time off in rehab.
