Oh, I was not happy at all.

I am a English teacher in China, and a student put chalk into my green tea. I am not too happy about it. It was gross, and I spit green tea on the floor. I do not really enjoy being on the receiving end of April Fools Day jokes.

Perhaps the list is sorted by some sort of scheme that is quite complex, and would require a careful examination to understand its true nature? Perhaps the list is arranged by vocabulary words? I don't know. Sorry I cannot be much help.

People can say '没了‘ to indicate that they do not have something? I thought you always had to say '没有了‘.

John, could you explain what you mean when you say 'complement following a verb'? Thanks.

I noticed this as well, I think it might be quite a problem for someone who is brand new to the Chinese language.

Yeah, I am in the same situation, financially. I earn Chinese pay, so it will be questionable whether I will be able to afford the subscription renewal when it ends in a month. When I was in the states, the price wasn't bad, but it is expensive when paying with Chinese funds.

I don't know too much about Chinese language, but what I have learned so far is that 'to give' is used differently in Chinese than it is in English. I find this the case with some other verbs, such as 'to play', and 'to know'. I hope this is helpful.

我也喜欢饭的番茄炒蛋盖浇饭。 I also like tomato fried egg over rice.
