I have this colleague who is Taiwanese who is always asking me favors but who REFUSES to write even one sentence to me in Chinese Her excuse is, "It takes too long to think and write in Chinese" And what is her profession? A Chinese-English interpreter!! So it was so fitting to ask why she is in such a hurry and wrote, "你算老几？有什么重要的事？赶着去投胎？" Of course, I also mentioned that I had her in mind for a project which would have required a Chinese interpreter even with travel to Russia, but since "It takes too long to think and write in Chinese". I told her I would recommend so one else. 可惜可惜
