May 27, 2010 at 2:51 AMIn mainland China, 登录 (dēnglù) is used for "sign in" and 注册 (zhùcè) for "sign up" or "register."
登记 (dēngjì) is normally for when you actually have to sign in on paper, like at a hotel or something.
