January 10, 2008 at 3:52 AMarchitpol, 礼貌 (lǐmào) can mean both "manners" as well as "polite." So when you hear 没有礼貌 (méiyǒu lǐmào) or 没礼貌 (méi lǐmào), it actually means "to not have manners." 不礼貌 (bù lǐmào), then, would be "not polite." I hope that makes it clearer.
