Here in Dalian I get addressed as 大大 a lot. I also hear 叔叔。

The only thing I know about Shanghai is that I don't like the train station. Buying a ticket was a nightmare.

I am planning to make the move myself. Does anyone have the "blacklist" handy? I would hate to wind up in a bad situation. I am starting my life over and am hoping that I can make a go of it over in China. I should do all right, I'm only 49 and in good health.Any advice or feedback would be welcomed.

I enjoyed that very much, maybe you could do a transcript of the interview. One thing that helps me is seeing and hearing it at the same time.

My Chinese name is 安士杰。It was given to me by 汪老师 who is one of the toughest guys I ever met. I was devastated when a date laughed at my name. She told me that she could tell that I wasn't chinese by this name,, and I said "really, that's how you can tell?"  I challenged her to pick a better one but she said that she couldn't.

 I know a whole bunch of 林能_____'s. They are all about ten to twenty years older than me.

So tell me, is 安士杰 good or goofy? or good and goofy? Help me out here.
