I am not sure if this is a chinese believe, if you are 25 years old (本命年）, they said you can't get married on that year. it will give you a bad luck, is this true??

so, this 通 can refer to the "expert"? if we use in the 电脑通 and 游戏通.

你好bababardwan, 词典里有写了“媳妇儿" 是 WIFE； a young married woman.

"媳"单个字是daughter in law.

”媳妇“是 son's wife; daughter in law

我觉得去巴厘岛度蜜月是最好的。又方便又便宜。本地人也特别热情。可以每天做spa :) 吃的也特别便宜和好吃。如果要买东西就要讨价还价。

I agree with you. First time I have dim sum with my friend in Australia, they are from 广东, before start the meal they are washing their bowl and cup. I was surprise, something new for me, seems this their habit, no question a lot to them.. but i guess waste a lot of time, and table become messy and also give the 服务员麻烦。

personally i only use the paper towel to rub the bowl and cup :)

I would never give up my aisle seat. I always ask for the aisle seat, easy to go to the toilet :)

I am a bit confused with 年纪niánjì and 年龄niánlíng。 They are both to ask about the age. Is this 年纪 and 年龄 a formal form?we know to ask a little kids age use 你几岁。ask to people for 10 years old above we can use 你多大 or 您多大。but, how to ask someone age (senior/pensioner)or people is really really old like 70 years old above?

It will be interesting if Cpod can bring a lesson talking about 12 chinese zodiac, or how to ask people which year they are born, belong to which chinese zodiac year.
