December 19, 2020 at 10:56 PMHello, that's a very good question! 求得 means "to seek; to look for". We usually use it when it's about something we have to fight hard for or make effort to get. For example, you can say 如果你想求得真正的幸福,你必须接受自己的不完美。 "If you seek real happiness, you have to accept your own imperfections." Hope this helps!

December 19, 2020 at 10:32 PMHello, thank you for the explanation! I tried searching by the lesson titles on the App, and I had no trouble finding them. Keep in mind that sometimes the search results change if what was typed in did not match the lesson title perfectly. In case you still can't find them, I've attached the links here, hope you enjoy them!

December 18, 2020 at 12:57 AMHello, if you're referring to downloading the video lessons, sorry but that's not available. However, you can download the audio lesson and the lesson dialogue for review. I'm not quite sure what you meant by "recommended lessons", could you clarify that please?

December 18, 2020 at 12:54 AMHello Anya, I would say you should definitely start to learn pinyin as early as possible. The sooner you familiarize yourself with the system, the more guidance you have in pronunciations, and it's going to be very helpful along the way. As for characters, it is more of a choice. You can get away with not learning characters at first but it gets very difficult when you're above intermediate level. I suggest that you learn pinyin first, and then after 10+ lessons, you can decide whether you want to learn characters or not (and if it's traditional or simplified characters or both). Please start with the newbie curriculum which includes the pinyin series and pronunciation rules, this playlist is perfect for a complete newbie!

If you want to get a sneak peak of how fun and easy characters can be, go watch the 88 characters series, it's a great start for a beginner as well!
