Wow what a lesson, coincidentally or otherwise it covered so much grammar and vocab the I'm studying with my teacher at this very moment. Terrific lesson and love this pair together!

Whoa a dull sounding lesson turns out to be packed with useful vocab and grammar! Came here because I've always found 锁 a bit difficult to pronounce

This lesson was great practice for 关 and some common things around the house/office. Johns lessons always are great.

Nice lesson. I always get the sense Fiona really wants you to learn Chinese.

Wonderful lesson. Fiona spoke quite quickly when explaining things in chinese, but I enjoyed that as a nice listening challenge. Thanks for the map! If I was the asker, I'd thank her, get to the next stage of the directions and just ask another person, repeat until I arrived :)

I don't understand why all your discussion is in English. "welcome to chinese pod im so and so , and im blah blah......" I think even in newbie lessons they say 我是。。。I feel its insulting to your audience, a demotivater to an intermediate learner. Please give a listen to any of the John pasden lessons 2012-2016? , the way one host keeps to chinese and the other to English, a perfect 50/50 mix. So much is learned from one host sticking to the TARGET LANGUAGE to explain things, nice natural chunks of language. Please review one of those older intermediate lessons when you have a chance and see what I mean. Thank you. Actually I don't want to give all that credit only to John P, because Fiona / Gwylim were much the same and old Ken and Jenny as well.
