一山容不得二虎

Dear Yin Xue,

I recently used the above saying when talking to a Chinese friend. Afterwards I was wondering why it is 二虎 instead of 两只虎。 Do you have an answer for me?

(Thanks for the new lessons, 因为世界杯课不太难，所以我有时间看世界杯。。。）
