Welcome to Newbie Level 1

Dear Rebecca and Chris,

I am Mala Zheng from ChinesePod. I am very pleased to be your Virtual School teacher over the next 3 months.

As we planned, our class will take place on every Wednesday between 21:00 to 22:00 PM EST. I wonder if it is possible for you to postpone it to 21:15 PM since I have a class at 21:00.  You can view the course syllabus on the dashboard at http://chinesepod.com/lessons/intro-1-good-morning/group/1010.

Before each class, please prepare by listening to the podcast, going through the vocabulary and studying the Pinyin Chart which you can download at http://chinesepod.com/tools/pronunciation. During our class, you will need the PDF transcript either printed out or displayed on your computer. Please sign into Skype a few minutes before the class. I will be Skyping you.

We will study "Good morning" and "Pinyin Chart Sections 1 to 2" during our first class on Wednesday.
