Dear Crystal,
I hope you had a wonderful trip to Bali. Currently I am in Idaho and I will be missing our July 5th time. I will be back home for July 12th lesson. Perhaps that week I will be able to makeup the July 5th lesson?
Thanks,
Cassandra

Also, can you please tell me a good online english-chinese dictionary and a chinese-english dictionary.

Dear Crystal, Do you have any idea where I can get a large print Chinese Dictionary. I have the Far East Dictionary but the problem I have with all my dictionaries is that the characters are SO small! Also I have the Tuttle English-Chinese Dictionary which I like and am wondering if you know of one that is has even more English words.

Yes, that's our new baby:) I have the same problem with tones although I can tell I have improved a little bit . That has taken a lot of practice. I will really keep working on that. Also is zhi1 like yi4 zhi1 gou3. prononced jr or ji? I thought it was more like jr but a tape I have sounds more like ji.
By the way where are you petting the dolphin? It looks like you are at Seaworld in California:)

Hi,is this cute girl your youngest daughter? haha. i had one student whose pronounciation was perfect but never can tell the difference of the four tones because he learnt chinese by listening instead of book. so i suggest that maybe you should try to listen and imitate, follow the "tune"(if you are good at singing).I hope that will be helpful for you.

Dear Crystal,I am wondering what I am doing wrong on the dictation part of the exercises. No matter what I do I always get those wrong. I also do not understand how to convert the tone numbers to tone marks. Thank so much for helping me with Chinese. You are wonderful and I really do appreciate you.
Sincerely,
Cassandra

Dear Crystal,
It was nice to meet you also. Thank you for helping me with a plan. I also appreciate when you correct my speaking Chinese because I think I have grown used to some bad habits in my grammar etc.
Sincerely,
Cassandra Hafen
