你好Ellen,
Thanks for the clarification earlier.
Also I don't appear to have received the new lesson plans for this month... did you send them? If not is it possible to send them by 230pm Beijing time as I will download them to my phone before work.
谢谢

Ni hao, Adam
Usually, we ask " Ni ji sui le ? ", means " How old are you?" This applies for any person.
nianji is used when you ask old people "How old are you?"
"Nin duo da nianji le ?"
sui means ...years old. For example, I am 27 years old.
"Wo 27 sui le?"

Hey Ellen,
In the call this morning I used nianji for my dad's age (if you remember?) but you said to use sui instead.
What's the difference between nianji and sui for age?

Dear Adam,
就 can mean just, or be used as adv. to indicate an action happens soon ,or earlier than expected.
我现在就去 – right now I will go
我下班然后就去酒吧 – after work then I’ll go to a bar
These two sentences are correct.
以后就去外面 – after I will then go outside
It's better to say : 之后就去外面。Because 以后 is normally not used at the beginning of a sentence, it can be used after a time phrase, e.g. 一个小时以后 (in an hour).

Hey Ellen,
I am having a bit confused with the word 就 in the Ele lesson 'my computer just froze' 就 is used as 'then.' could you check the few sentences below and see if they are correct please?
Thanks.
我现在就去 – right now I will go
以后就去外面 – after I will then go outside
我下班然后就去酒吧 – after work then I’ll go to a bar

Hey Ellen,
Tomorrow (Monday 27th) I will not be able to make the 8:15 session as I am currently in France and will arrive back at about 9:30am. Is it possible to change the practice session again?! Anytime after 10am should be a good time (BST +1) which I think is Beijing time 4pm onwards.
Thanks and apologies,
Adam

Hey Ellen,
Thanks for todays review!
I was thinking for the next lesson list is it possible to put in 1 or 2 more Intermediate lessons or high Elementary lessons and take out some regular Elementary lessons?
Thanks,
Adam

你好,Adam!

Hey Yuanlijie,
I just realised this is my first posting here! Anyway is 意味 always followed by 着?
So if I am using 意味, I must say 意味着......
If I don't need to use 着 when do I not use it?
Thanks
